£35,000 – £45,000 | Hybrid Working | Accountancy Practice

An established and well-regarded accountancy practice in Weybridge, Surrey is looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant as part of its continued growth.

This role offers broad exposure across management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT and accounts preparation, supporting a varied portfolio of owner‑managed businesses and SMEs. The firm provides a supportive and well‑structured working environment with close access to senior team members and genuine progression potential.

As an Assistant Accountant within this independent Weybridge practice, you will support the delivery of services across a varied client portfolio and play an important role in day‑to‑day client work.

• Preparation of accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Bookkeeping using cloud‑based accounting systems such as Xero, Quick Books or Sage
• Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax compliance during busy periods
• Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and obtain information
