St Paul’s Primary School is looking for a caring, nurturing member of staff, who is committed to supporting children’s learning both in the classroom and at lunchtime.

Although some understanding of social communication needs and/or ASD would be desirable, bespoke training will be provided for the right candidate. You should be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills, be an effective team member and be prepared to use your own initiative. The working hours are from 8.30am until 3.10pm, Monday to Friday (28 hours 45 minutes per week) term time only
.

The full‑time salary scale for the post is £23,857.00 and the pro‑rata salary will be £16,151.11
.

Responsibilities
  • Support children’s learning in the classroom and at lunchtime.
  • Support the distinctive Christian ethos of the school (no requirement to be a practising Christian).
  • Work as part of a supportive, hardworking and friendly team.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, training and coaching to enhance your skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Initiative and effective decision making.
  • Understanding of social communication needs or ASD is desirable.
