We are seeking a Premises Assistant to join our team at Sayes Court Primary School, part of Bourne Education Trust. In support of the Senior Leadership Team, the Premises Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the school premises.

DetailsContract: Permanent. 35 hours pw, 52 weeks per year
Hours: Monday - Friday. We can offer either: a) Split shift of 7am - 10:30am & 3pm - 6.30pm, or b) 7am - 3pm with an unpaid 1 hour break
Start Date: ASAP

- Maintain a programme of site testing and inspections to ensure statutory compliance under the guidance of the School Business Leader
- Identify issues quickly by carrying out regular inspections of all indoor and outdoor areas, providing written reports/action plans as required

- Ensure the security of the school, including locking and unlocking
- An awareness and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
