Driver & Installer

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver with experience in domestic appliance installation to join our team. This role involves the safe and timely delivery, handling, and installation of household appliances (built in and freestanding) at customer locations – full training will be given. You will regularly undertake heavy lifting, use straps and specialist equipment, and work closely with warehouse staff to ensure a smooth delivery operation.

This is a customer-facing, hands-on role suited to someone dependable, physically fit, and comfortable working independently & as a team.

• Deliver and install domestic appliances at customer premises
• Load and unload appliances safely using appropriate equipment
• Ensure all deliveries and installations are completed accurately and on schedule
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff regarding routes, schedules, and delivery issues
• Carry out basic vehicle safety and roadworthiness checks before departure
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle
• Support warehouse operations when required, including stock handling and replenishment
• Safely perform heavy lifting in line with correct manual handling procedures
• Cover driving duties during colleague annual leave when required

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or appliance installer is advantageous
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safe installation practices is preferred
• Physically capable of heavy lifting throughout the working day
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Full, valid UK driving licence required
