The Steel & Manufacturing Loader/Logistics position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient handling, loading, and transportation of steel products within a manufacturing environment. • High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification or equivalent experience in operating material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic understanding of safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

• Experience working in steel manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
• Familiarity with logistics software and inventory management systems.
• Additional certifications related to crane operation or hazardous materials handling.
• Proven track record of maintaining safety compliance and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Load and unload steel products and raw materials safely and efficiently using forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment.
• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure accurate inventory tracking and timely movement of materials.
• Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to supervisors promptly.
• Prepare and organize materials for shipment, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading area and equipment to promote a safe working environment.
• Assist in scheduling and tracking deliveries to optimize logistics operations and meet production deadlines.
• Operate logistics software and documentation systems to record shipment details and inventory movements.
