The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and Team Members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)As a FAST Team Member, you should be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
- Communicate proactively with your District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion and issues.
- Complete planograms, resets, store measurements, layout initiatives, and cycle counts accurately and timely.
- Hang signage, assemble merchandise and fixtures, and review planogram integrity.
- Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, and Add Value. - Ensure customers have a superior shopping experience.
- Provide coverage during peak times (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience in retail or merchandising is required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; ability to read, write, and count is essential.
Skills and Abilities- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
- Self-directed with minimal supervision.
- Indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise.
- Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours, with travel between store locations using personal vehicle.
- Adherence to safety guidelines and proper handling of store equipment.
- Ability to travel, lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull merchandise up to 2000 pounds with equipment, and operate store equipment.
- Frequent standing, kneeling, bending, reaching, and climbing ladders.
- Ability to work safely in store and outdoor areas.
