II-Mission Technologies is seeking an Electronics Engineer to support our work with the U.S. Army Research Laboratory in Adelphi, MD. The selected candidate will provide technical expertise to perform Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) studies and analyses for Defense Systems. This includes systems related to new and emerging technologies as well as development of mitigation strategies that can enhance military systems, subsystems, and components, particularly technology insertion and rapid prototyping to enhance the performance of legacy systems.
HII has been providing engineering and management support to the U.S. Army Research Laboratory for over 10 years, and the exciting work we do for this customer keeps growing with new and continued support in RDT&E. Come be part of this challenging, exciting opportunity!
What You Will Do- Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment, power electronics; communications equipment and systems; circuitry components and integrated circuits; analog and digital computers, processors, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGA) and associated firmware; and control and test equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s in related field; 0 years experience with Master’s in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
- Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance

- A strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in radio frequency systems and corresponding test equipment. Additional expertise that contributes to mission success includes: GNSS receivers, INS, interference mitigation, embedded system development, MATLAB, Python, Linux.
