CHARGE NURSE – RN / LPN Charge Nurse. Carolina Rehab Center of Burke in Connelly Springs, NC is seeking qualified individuals to join our growing team as RN / LPN Charge Nurses
. As the RN / LPN Charge nurse, you work at the forefront of delivering high-quality care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to help residents regain and maintain independence through compassionate care and support.

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of nursing assistants (CNAs).
• Provide individualized nursing care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.
• Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Explain procedures and treatments ordered to gain patients’ cooperation and reduce apprehension.
• Observe vital signs to detect deviations from normal and gauge patient progress.
• Maintain patients’ medical records on nursing observations and actions taken (medications, treatments, reactions, intake/output, vital signs).
• Record nursing needs of patients on care plans to assure continuity of care.
• Observe emotional stability of patients, track progress, and prepare them for continuing care after discharge.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.

• Active Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
