Lenawee Christian Ministries (LCM) exists to promote spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, and social wellness by providing Christ-centered education, spiritual development, and wellness services to Lenawee County. LCM is the not-for-profit parent organization of Lenawee Christian School and the Christian Family Centre, located in Adrian, MI.
POSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a full-time Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the LCM President and the LCM Executive Director, facilitating efficient and organized leadership across LCM. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, professional discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive financial and organizational information.
Key areas of responsibility include calendar and travel management, internal and external communication, financial administrative support, and coordination of meetings and special events. This individual must possess a foundational understanding of financial processes, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine heart for ministry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESExecutive Support:
- Manage and maintain the President and Executive Director’s complex calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and organize materials for meetings (internal, external, and Board of Directors), presentations, and conferences.
- Screen and prioritize incoming communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
- Draft and prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Conduct research and compile data as needed.
- Prepare expense reports and manage travel logistics.
Communication and Coordination:
- Act as the primary point of contact between executive leadership and internal/external stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication with staff, board members, donors, and ministry partners.
- Coordinate meeting logistics for internal teams, pastoral partners, and external community leaders, including scheduling, agenda preparation, recording and distributing minutes and other associated duties.
- Organize events and conferences, including scheduling, catering, materials, and follow-up.
- Maintain well-organized digital and physical filing systems.
General Support:
- Manage and organize office supplies, equipment, and records.
- Maintain and update databases and filing systems as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the central office.

Educational Background/
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant preferred, particularly with a nonprofit or ministry.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with financial or donor databases is a plus.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented and servant-hearted approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Successful completion of a background check is required.
