Shift Supervisor - Adrian

WACKER SILICONES is one of the world’s biggest silicone manufacturers with silicone-based system solutions and over 3,000 different products. At our Adrian site, we are currently looking for a Shift Supervisor - Adrian 1 1 to join our growing team.

Job Requirements

The Shift Supervisor role is responsible for a safe supply service to production and assist in achieving goals established by production:

• Follow and enforce SOP’s, company policies, and procedures. Incident reporting and initial investigation. First Aid response in plant during night shift and weekend shift. Safety of Production operators, and equipment.
• Supervise schedule attainment, production monitoring, and update departments on status of equipment and processes.
• Troubleshoot equipment/processes and work with PTS’s, maintenance, chemists, scheduling, and logistics to keep production running.
• Support/guide operators. Assist operators with production-related issues.
• Assist with inventory, MSO's, and material requests.

Qualifications

• Some College / Associates Degree and/or 2 years production-related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field is preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Supervision experience.
• Operation of equipment/processes.
• Knowledge of batch processes.
• Understanding of safe work practices.
