Our organization is currently seeking a Midmarket Fleet Account Executive.
Requirements- Serve as the primary point of contact for midmarket FMC‑managed customers and regional fleets.
- Understand customer needs through FMC consultants and upfit engineers, ensuring requirements are captured accurately.
- Recommend the appropriate installation channel based on timing, geography, install complexity, and customer profile.
- Manage the opportunity pipeline and communicate clearly with customers and FMC partners throughout the quoting and delivery process.
- Collaborate with the Midmarket Sales Engineer to develop validated, feasible solutions.
- Provide timely and proactive communication to FMC teams regarding status, timing, options, and risks.
- Work closely with Fleet and Commercial teams to align customer strategies and transitions between segments.
- Build strong relationships with distributors, RSMs, and DSAs to support regional capacity and timing needs.
- Identify customers who may transition into A‑level Fleet support and coordinate with leadership.
- Maintain CRM accuracy and support quoting workflow with clarity.
- Strong communication and customer engagement skills
- Ability to build trust quickly with FMC and customer teams
- Ability to challenge effectively and communicate confidently
- Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to proactively identify risks and communicate them
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritize effectively
- Strong business acumen with understanding of platform timing, channels, and installation flows
- Ability to utilize Adrian Steel business systems and processes with accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred
- 3‑7 years of experience in sales, account management, or fleet/FMC partnerships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Strong understanding of vehicle upfitting, fleet operations, or distributor networks preferred
- Lean methodology preferred
- Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a 'Driver' as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy
