The Dedicated Officer will be responsible for providing security services to a specific location and site. The officer will be required to travel throughout the property on foot and provide security services as needed. The officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and customers. Reporting and record keeping are integral aspects of security. You may be expected to maintain logs or personal hard copy logs when required.

• Conduct regular patrols of the assigned premises to identify unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and interior areas.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and customers.
• Authorize entrance and departure of employees and visitors as needed.
• Log information of daily irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Investigate disturbances on the property.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and evict violators from premises.
• Report hazards and suspicious behavior concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Handle sensitive information and security matters with integrity, reliability, and discretion.
• Exercise problem-solving ability and sound judgment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous security experience preferred.

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
