Join Genacross Lutheran Services as a Youth Residential Support Specialist, where you'll help children and adolescents navigate emotional and behavioral challenges while developing the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

What You'll Do as a Youth Residential Support Specialist:- Build meaningful relationships with youth, providing encouragement, guidance, and positive mentorship.
- Create a safe and supportive environment where youth feel respected, valued, and understood.
- Support daily activities, including meals, recreation, personal care, and transportation.
- Teach important life skills, including communication, problem-solving, social skills, and independence.
- Help youth navigate challenges using trauma-informed care and positive behavioral support techniques.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support individualized treatment goals.
- Monitor and document progress, behaviors, and important daily activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
