Job Summary:
We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and motivating Fitness Coach to lead small group training sessions (PE@PF), provide member instruction, and offer fitness guidance while maintaining a positive and encouraging environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead safe, engaging, and effective group training sessions (PE@PF).
- Actively assist members with proper use of equipment and basic fitness programming.
- Design and update program templates as needed to accommodate members’ progress.
- Provide education on Planet Fitness' philosophy and training methods.
- Ensure gym floor is clean, organized, and all equipment is functioning properly.
- Build relationships with members and promote a judgment-free, inclusive atmosphere.
- Encourage member retention by fostering a supportive and goal-focused environment.
Qualifications:
- CPR/AED Certified (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
- Outgoing, friendly personality with strong communication skills.
- Passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to continuously stand, bend, lift, and walk throughout shift.
- Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs.
