- Review estimator takeoffs, proposals, and contracts to confirm alignment of the project scope.
- Identify project material requirements and prepare submittals for general contractors and owners.
- Prepare, distribute, track, and maintain project documentation, including material submittals, LEED documents, warranties, and closeout records.
- Communicate product approvals and architect/engineer submittal comments promptly to project managers and superintendents.
- Maintain accurate, organized departmental records in the QC tracking database.
- Review contracts, purchase orders, and invoices for accuracy; obtain approvals as required.
- Read and interpret structural drawings and specifications relevant to the company’s work.
- Support the development and implementation of departmental process improvements.
- Cross-train on related departmental duties to provide coverage as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- One year of construction-related experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Familiarity with Viewpoint and AutoCAD preferred; ability to learn new software.
- Understanding of construction project management processes.
- Strong organizational, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks, work independently, and collaborate with a team.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, professional conduct, and company policies.
