A pizzeria bar and restaurant is seeking a dynamic Head Chef to manage the kitchen of this upscale pizzeria with menus featuring pizzas, burgers and homemade artisan ice creams. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Head Chef to produce modern European dishes that will showcase the venue and keep it a popular, vibrant restaurant, based in lovely surroundings. As Head Chef you will be working in a brigade of 6 and be expected to bring your enthusiasm to the role and ensure that the junior members of the team are trained to the standards required.
Your other responsibilities include Menu planning, costings, stock control, rotas, ordering and maintaining Food Safety.
An experienced Head Chef who is passionate about food and has a proven track record in restaurants with European style menus, working in fresh food kitchens and with pizza making skills is required for this role. Excellent all round knowledge of all sections in the kitchen and an up to date awareness of current cooking trends is an advantage for this role.
