About the Role   RPJ Jewellers Private Limited is looking for an experienced and responsible   Jewellery Accountant   to join our wholesale jewellery business in Kinari Bazaar, Agra.
We are looking for a candidate with  3–4 years of relevant experience in the jewellery industry   , along with practical accounting experience and strong working knowledge of   Tally/Tally Prime   .
The ideal candidate should already understand jewellery business operations, billing and stock-related accounting and should be comfortable handling day-to-day accounting work.
What You'll Do  ✔ Handle day-to-day accounting and billing activities.
✔ Work confidently on   Tally/Tally Prime   for regular accounting entries.
✔ Prepare and maintain sales and purchase invoices.
✔ Maintain customer and supplier ledgers.
✔ Handle cash, bank, voucher and journal entries.
✔ Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable.
✔ Handle GST-related accounting and documentation.
✔ Assist with GST returns and reconciliations.
✔ Handle   TDS and TCS   related accounting activities.
✔ Handle accounting work related to   Income Tax and ITR Filing   .
✔ Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
✔ Handle jewellery billing and stock/inventory-related accounting.
✔ Perform ledger and bank reconciliations.
✔ Coordinate with management and the CA/accounting team whenever required.
✔ Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting work.
What We're Looking For  ✅  3–4 years of relevant experience in the jewellery industry is required.
✅ Practical experience in   accounting and billing   .
✅ Strong working knowledge of   Tally/Tally Prime   .
✅ Good practical knowledge of   GST, Income Tax, TDS and TCS   .
✅ Working knowledge of   ITR Filing and taxation   .
✅ Good understanding of vouchers, ledgers, debit/credit entries, cash and bank transactions.
✅ Good working knowledge of   MS Excel   .
✅ Understanding of   jewellery billing, stock/inventory and jewellery business transactions   .
✅ Comfortable working with computers and learning business software.
This is an on-site position based in Kinari Bazaar, Agra. Candidates currently based in Agra or able to conveniently commute to the workplace will be preferred.
⭐ Prior experience with   MMI jewellery software   will be an added advantage, but   MMI experience is not mandatory   . Basic training on the software will be provided.
Why Jewellery Experience Matters   For this position, prior   jewellery industry experience is important   because the candidate will be working with jewellery-specific billing, accounting, stock and business processes.
We are looking for someone who already understands the jewellery business and has a good foundation in accounting and Tally, allowing them to quickly understand our internal software and processes.
Working Hours   12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

4 leaves per month, credited proportionately as per the applicable company leave policy.
