Accountant – Al Ahmadi Kuwait

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Al Ahmadi Kuwait. As an Accountant you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and records of our organization. This is a contract position without accommodation suitable for foreigners, with no English language requirement.

• Prepare and maintain financial records including ledger accounts, budgets, and financial statements.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Assist with budget planning and forecasting.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential areas for cost savings or revenue growth.
• Communicate with clients or vendors regarding payment issues or inquiries.
• Participate in audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations, software updates, and industry best practices.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software e.g. Quick Books and MS Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Fluency in English is not required but considered a plus for this position.

The salary for this position is $1400 per month.
