Library Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Library Assistant to join our team in Al Ahmadi. As a library assistant, you will be responsible for helping patrons locate materials, checking books in and out, and assisting with general library tasks. This position is suitable for men who are looking for part-time work and do not require English proficiency or previous experience.

• Assist patrons with locating materials and answering general inquiries
• Check books in and out using library software
• Shelve returned books in correct locations
• Process new materials, including labeling and covering books
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the library space
• Assist with inventory and ordering of new materials
• Perform basic repairs on damaged books
• Assist with planning and organizing library events
• Other duties as assigned by the head librarian.

• Biometric passport required for security clearance purposes
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (books, supplies, etc.)
• Comfortable using basic computer software (e.g. Microsoft Office)
• Prior experience working in a library is preferred but not required.

Salary: 1000$ per month (part-time)
