Librarian Assistant - Part Time (Al Ahmadi, Kuwait)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Librarian Assistant to join our team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As a Librarian Assistant, you will support the daily operations of our library and assist the Librarian in providing excellent customer service to our patrons.

• Assist with cataloging and organizing library materials
• Maintain the library's physical and digital collections
• Help patrons locate and check out books, magazines, and other materials
• Answer reference questions and provide information on library resources
• Process new library memberships and update existing member records
• Assist with shelving and re-shelving books and other materials
• Keep the library clean, tidy, and well-maintained
• Assist with planning and hosting library events, such as book clubs or children's storytime
• Other duties as assigned by the Librarian

• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Bachelor's degree in Library Science is preferred but not required
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Comfortable using technology, including library databases and systems
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month.
