Contracts Administrator (Contract Specialist II)

Join the Worley team as a Contracts Administrator. Worley is a global professional services company that partners with customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets.

Overview

We are looking for an experienced contract specialist to manage pre‑award and post‑award activities for large oil & gas facility projects.

Responsibilities
  • Pre‑award: prepare bid invitation packages, evaluate bids, negotiate, and award formalities.
  • Post‑award: conduct kick‑off meetings, coordinate contract submittals, process variation orders, claims, and close‑out.
  • Draft Invitation to Tender packages, review contract conditions, and propose alternative text/clauses.
  • Collaborate with legal, risk management, tax, and accounting to submit contract conditions for approval.
  • Negotiate terms with project management staff and establish contract conditions.
  • Monitor compliance with contractual terms and maintain documentation for change orders.
  • Prepare client letters, ensure acceptance documents are completed and signed.
  • Provide business and financial information to the client as requested.
  • Identify and resolve contractual problems and follow up with management for timely response.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Arts.
  • Chartered status (MRICS) or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience
  • Extensive knowledge of contractual terms, commercial contract law, and procurement processes.
  • Experience preparing and issuing bidders lists, contracting plans, and bid invitation packages through award, administration, and close‑out.
  • Strong grasp of procedural requirements and audit trail for management purposes.
  • Middle East/Arabian Gulf experience preferred but not mandatory.
