Job Title:

Librarian - Al Ahmadi, Kuwait

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library collection, providing research assistance to patrons, and promoting literacy and lifelong learning.

• Selecting and ordering new books, magazines, and other educational materials for the library
• Maintaining an organized and updated library collection
• Assisting patrons with research inquiries and locating information
• Promoting literacy by organizing events such as book clubs and reading programs
• Conducting library orientation sessions for new students or employees
• Managing the library budget and keeping track of expenses
• Collaborating with teachers or professors to integrate library resources into the curriculum
• Providing technical support for online databases and digital resources
• Enforcing library rules and regulations to maintain a peaceful environment for studying

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
• Previous experience working as a librarian or in a similar role preferred
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist patrons of all ages and backgrounds
• Knowledge of digital resources, cataloging systems, and reference materials
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office

This position offers a salary of 1700$ per month along with benefits such as accommodation.
