Librarian

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Al Ahmadi. This part‑time position is offered at a salary of 1600$ per month.

• Manage and organize the library’s collection of books, periodicals, and other materials.
• Assist patrons with research needs and provide recommendations for resources.
• Maintain accurate records of borrowed and returned materials.
• Develop and implement library programs and events to engage the community.
• Keep up‑to‑date with new resources and technologies in the field of librarianship.
• Ensure that all materials are properly cataloged and shelved in accordance with library standards.
• Collaborate with other librarians to develop policies and procedures for the library.

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a related field.
• Previous experience working in a library setting preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Proficiency in relevant computer programs and technology used in libraries.
