The appointed faculty member shall serve as a researcher and teacher, contributing to the institution’s academic community and learning outcomes. The position includes a blend of teaching, research, and service responsibilities listed below.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in line with approved curricula.
- Supervise student research projects and other academic activities.
- Provide professional mentorship to students.
- Develop and maintain an independent research agenda with measurable scholarly output.
- Publish in internationally recognized peer‑reviewed journals indexed in reputable databases.
- Participate in academic committees and institutional governance.
- Contribute to curriculum development and program review processes.
- Support accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional effectiveness initiatives.
A PhD degree in Management of Information Systems (MIS). Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees may be in Business/IT or a closely related field. All degrees must be awarded by accredited universities and obtained through traditional, on‑campus study formats.
Academic Rank and Experience RequirementsMinimum of 8 years of experience in a reputable academic institution, with at least 4 years held in the rank of Associate Professor and 4 years as Assistant Professor.
Research and Scholarly Requirements- Minimum 13 full‑length, high‑quality academic papers published in reputable international peer‑reviewed journals.
- Publications must meet recognized academic standards.
- Scopus h‑index of 20 or higher is preferred.
- At least three (3) publications within the last five years.
- First author on a minimum of seven (7) publications.
- Research extracted directly from the applicant’s MSc or PhD thesis will not be counted.
- Detailed Curriculum Vitae, including academic rank history.
- Official Experience Certificates verifying academic appointments.
- Official Promotion Letters confirming academic rank advancement.
- Teaching Evaluation Reports issued by the employing academic institution.
- Copies of all academic degrees and official transcripts.
- Research and Teaching Statements.
- Copy of passport and recent photograph.
- Valid contact number (including international country code) and an active email address for official correspondence.
