Professor in Accounting

Kuwait Technical College (KTech) invites applications for the position of Professor in Accounting. The appointment will be based strictly on academic merit, research productivity, verified teaching experience, and compliance with institutional and accreditation requirements.

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Accounting according to approved curricula.
• Supervise student research projects, academic activities and provide professional mentorship.
• Develop and maintain an independent research agenda with measurable scholarly output.
• Publish in internationally recognized peer‑reviewed journals indexed in reputable databases.
• Participate in academic committees, institutional governance, curriculum development, and program review processes.
• Support accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional effectiveness initiatives.

• PhD degree in Accounting.
• Bachelor's and Master's degrees may be in Business, Finance, or a closely related field; all degrees must be from accredited universities and obtained through traditional on‑campus study formats.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a reputable academic institution.
• Held the academic rank of Associate Professor for 4 years and Assistant Professor for 4 years.

• Minimum of 13 full‑length, high‑quality academic papers published in reputable international peer‑reviewed journals.
• Scopus h‑index of 20 or higher is preferred.
• At least three publications within the last five years.
• Minimum of seven first‑author publications.
• Research extracted directly from the applicant’s MSc or PhD thesis will not be counted.

• Curriculum Vitae showing academic rank history.
• Official experience certificates verifying academic appointments.
• Official promotion letters confirming rank advancement.
• Teaching evaluation reports.
• Copies of all academic degrees and official transcripts.
• Research and teaching statements.
