Librarian - Part Time (with accommodation and own visa) in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait

We are urgently seeking a part-time Librarian to join our team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library resources, assisting patrons with research and reference materials, and promoting a love for reading and learning within the community.

• Manage the library's collection of books, periodicals, and digital resources
• Organize materials using proper cataloging systems and ensure they are easily accessible to patrons
• Assist patrons with locating materials and conducting research
• Develop and implement programs to promote reading and literacy within the community
• Maintain a welcoming and organized environment within the library
• Train and supervise library assistants or volunteers
• Keep up-to-date with new developments in library technology and trends in the field

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a librarian or in a similar role
• Excellent organization skills with attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of library systems and cataloging procedures
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in English (knowledge of Arabic is an advantage)
• Must have own visa for Kuwait

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this part-time position.
