Generator Mechanic
Job :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Generator Mechanic to join our team, Oil and Gas company.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance on generators, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system inspections
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in generator systems
- Repair and overhaul diesel and gas generators
- Conduct load testing and performance assessments
- Install and commission new generator units
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards - Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide on-site technical support
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Generator Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems
- Familiarity with control panels and automatic transfer switches (ATS)
