Responsibilities

Design and analyze transmission line structures using advanced engineering software to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, ultimately enhancing the reliability of energy distribution.

Membership with KSE (Kuwait Society of Engineers) is mandatory.

Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project viability, utilizing geotechnical and environmental data to inform design decisions and mitigate potential risks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and project managers, to develop comprehensive project plans that align with client objectives and budget constraints.

Oversee construction activities, ensuring that all work is performed according to specifications, timelines, and quality standards, thereby maintaining project integrity and client satisfaction.

Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation, including design calculations, project updates, and compliance records, to facilitate clear communication with stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Implement and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, using project management tools to ensure timely completion and efficient use of resources.

Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases, troubleshooting any issues that arise to minimize project delays and enhance operational efficiency.

Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in civil engineering and transmission line design, applying new knowledge to improve processes and outcomes.

Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team while sharing best practices and technical expertise.

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering design software for creating detailed transmission line designs.
Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles relevant to transmission line engineering.
Experience in project management methodologies to effectively oversee engineering projects from inception to completion.
Excellent problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges and develop innovative solutions.
Understanding of local and international standards and regulations governing transmission line construction and safety.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and sustainability practices in civil engineering.
