Job Role:
MEP Engineer to support the Tendering Department Experience
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in MEP estimation and tendering.
- Proven experience in both domestic and industrial projects, covering:
- Electrical systems (LV works, power, substations, etc.)
- Mechanical (HVAC)
- Firefighting (FF)
- Plumbing (Pl.)
- Infrastructure
- Instrumentation
- Ability to review MEP drawings and specifications
- Perform accurate quantity take-off (QTO)
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison sheets
- Experience with estimation software, or the ability to quickly adapt to new systems (e.g., ERP and other platforms)
- Proficiency in MS Excel
Field experience is highly preferred, particularly in projects related to:
- MEW (Ministry of Electricity & Water)
- MPW (Ministry of Public Works)
- Oil & Gas sector (KOC, KNPC, WJO, etc.)
- Strong analytical and cost control skills
- Familiarity with local (Kuwait/GCC) standards and specifications
- Ability to work under tight deadlines (fast-track tenders)
- Good communication and coordination skills
