C-17 Product Repair/Mod Technician – Al Mubarak Air Base, KuwaitThis position is part of the on-site C-17 Globe master III Integrated Sustainment Program maintenance team supporting the Kuwait Air Force (KAF) C-17 aircraft based at Al Mubarak Air Base. The applicant will participate in organizational level maintenance activities such as flight‑line tasks including aircraft servicing, inspections, fault diagnosis, component replacement, and structural repair to meet KAF mission requirements, and in intermediate level back‑shop tasks such as component repair, test set operation, battery charging, and scheduled periodic inspections.
PositionResponsibilities
- English is the primary language of the KAF community on the airbase in Kuwait. Competency in reading, comprehension, and speaking the English language is necessary.
- Lead the assembly, disassembly, and/or modification of systems, including the change, removal, replacement or upgrade of aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
- Oversee assembly, disassembly, or overhaul.
- Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
- Direct troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
- Oversee validation and verification testing of systems and components.
- Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
- Inspect components and verify repairs for flight‑worthiness requirements.
- Lead and supervise others to perform tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle (e.g., jacking, towing, system operations).
- Provide training and mentorship to others.
- Work under minimal direction.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, which requires US citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required.
Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of C-17 maintenance experience.
- Current U.S. Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to obtain a work visa as required.
- Experience in avionics systems.
Education and Experience
Education and experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., high school diploma or GED) and typically 5 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school, associate degree plus 2 years of related work, bachelor’s degree, etc.).

Benefits and CompensationBenefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll. They will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable Kuwaiti law. Employment is subject to the candidate’s ability to satisfy all Kuwaiti labor and immigration formalities.
