Technical Assurance Lead

Responsibilities

• Provide independent technical oversight of EPCC engineering workflows and deliverables to ensure fitness for purpose.
• Act as the SF Manager’s technical guardian across engineering deliverables without duplicating EPCC design authority.
• Review EPCC engineering deliverables, identify problems, and ensure compliance with client standards, project basis, and specs.
• Track engineering maturity, deliverable quality, and technical risk.
• Harmonize SF technical interfaces across disciplines.
• Advise on deviations, concessions, and technical risk exposure.
• Ensure readiness of documents for client approval cycles and monitor/manage engineering MOC.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant field.
• 15+ years of oil & gas facilities engineering experience.
• Core discipline: piping, mechanical, or process.
• Broad multi‑discipline understanding (E&I, civils, layout).
• High familiarity with EPC deliverables life cycles.
• Experience with client approvals, Master Document List, and assurance processes.
• Good judgment; able to challenge without re‑engineering.
• Good technical questioning ability to unearth and foresee problems.
• Based in Kuwait or eligible for a transferable visa.
