Production Stimulation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of safe, efficient, and reliable products and services to customers.
• Consult with operations groups to support area of expertise and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Promote new technology and services offerings; support PL in risk management and apply lessons learned.
• Provide real-time support to operations as required.
• Provide technical support throughout Sales, Product, and Service Delivery process.
• Assist in development of technical job designs for PLs.
• Identify areas where new and cost-effective techniques can be applied.
• Explore opportunities for value-added products and services.
• Consult with Design Technical Engineer to optimize technical design.
• Assist in real-time incident response, recovery, and investigation.
• Assist in evaluating technical viability and appraisal of tenders.
• Remain current on new technologies.
• Maintain customer visibility via professional society activities and calls for papers.
• Understand the competition's technical offering.
• Participate in external technical societies and communities.
• Contribute to writing and reviewing technical publications.
• Engage with local universities, customer institutes, and research organizations.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers or technicians on shared projects.
• Mentor junior stimulation engineers within Well Services and DCS.
• Organize client seminars.
• Understand and catalogue client needs and implement solutions.
• Be regarded as a stimulation expert within the oilfield community and represent Schlumberger at industry forums.
• Participate in periodic publications in these forums.
