A reputable contracting company in Al Ahmadi is seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team. This position is suitable for Malayalees who are looking for a contract job and have their own visa. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in land surveying and must be proficient in using surveying equipment and software. They will be responsible for conducting surveys, collecting data, analyzing results and preparing reports.
The role also involves liaising with clients, contractors and other team members to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the surveying process. This position requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Salary for this position is 1600$ per month and it is suitable for men who are passionate about land surveying.
As a Land Surveyor your responsibilities will include:- Conducting surveys using various methods such as GPS total station and laser scanning
- Collecting data through measurements observations and records
- Analyzing data to determine boundaries elevations areas and other features
- Preparing reports and maps based on survey results
- Ensuring the accuracy of survey data by regularly calibrating equipment
- Collaborating with clients to understand project requirements
- Communicating with contractors to ensure proper placement of structures or boundaries
- Working closely with other team members such as engineers and architects to ensure project success
- Adhering to safety procedures while conducting surveys
- Bachelors degree in Surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in land surveying
- Proficient in using surveying equipment such as total station GPS systems and laser scanners
- Familiarity with CAD software for mapping purposes
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid drivers license and own transportation preferred
