About the RoleAs an IT Support Specialist, you'll install and maintain IT systems, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support networks and business applications, and help ensure secure, uninterrupted operations.
Responsibilities- Install and maintain computers, printers, and IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and business applications.
- Manage user accounts and access permissions.
- Monitor LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity.
- Perform system updates, backups, and security patching.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Support video conferencing and mobile devices.
- Coordinate with vendors and respond to IT incidents promptly.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of IT support or systems administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking.
- Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified) are an advantage.
