Purchasing & Contract Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and purchase order processing.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.
• Conduct market research and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Administer supplier contracts and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, customs regulations, shipping documentation, and relevant statutory requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop suppliers to build a reliable supply base.
• Monitor supplier performance through regular reviews.
• Foster strong supplier relationships and resolve procurement-related issues effectively.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and deliver timely purchasing support.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure uninterrupted operations and on-time deliveries.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or contract management.

Strong knowledge of procurement principles, supplier management, and industry best practices.

Experience with SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
