The Logistics & Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading logistics, warehousing, management operations to ensure the efficient, safe, and cost-effective movement, storage, and control of materials supporting oil & gas operations. The role ensures inventory accuracy, warehouse optimization, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted material availability while driving operational excellence, business continuity, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, customs coordination (where applicable), and material distribution to operational sites.
- Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, preservation, issuing, dispatch, and stock control of drilling, production, maintenance, and project materials.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical stock verification, reconciliations, and effective ERP inventory management.
- Monitor inventory levels, critical spares, slow-moving and obsolete stock, and inventory aging to optimize working capital and material availability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, QHSE standards, regulatory requirements, and internal/external audit requirements.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and Finance to ensure timely material availability and efficient supply chain execution.
- Prepare operational reports, analyses, KPI dashboards, and management reports to support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse utilization, logistics efficiency, optimization, and cost control.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse, logistics, and personnel, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience8–10 years of Managerial experience in logistics, warehousing, control, material management, or supply chain operations in leading oil and gas sector company.
Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or Assistant manager role in leading logistics and warehouse teams.
Experience in the oil & gas, drilling, chemicals, manufacturing, or industrial services sector is preferred.
SkillsStrong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics planning, transportation, and
material handling.
Good understanding of oil & gas materials, critical spares management, and logistics &
warehouse optimization techniques.
Knowledge of QHSE requirements, hazardous material handling, and warehouse safety
practices.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent) and
Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, reporting, planning, and problem-solving skills.
