Position: Quality Assurance Specialist.
  • Serve as a Quality Assurance Specialist for aviation weapon and support systems assigned to regional operational activities within CONUS and OCONUS areas of responsibility.
  • Responsible for the life cycle quality of goods and services through incorporating value-added assurance practices into Command technology, acquisition and logistics processes.
  • Assist AMCOM’s organic quality assurance core competencies including; quality systems management, quality engineering, product quality management, verification, validation, and software quality.
  • Manage production, quality and execution aspects of AMCOM’s field maintenance and systems modification work order (MWO) programs on all Army aircraft.
  • Provide instructions, advice and training to ensure command objectives, programs and projects are understood.
  • Function as liaison between the Aviation Field Maintenance Activity, the Contractor and all supported units; coordinates logistical requirements, monitors contractor performance and prepares contract specifications.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation for a Tier 3 - Non-Critical Sensitive-Moderate Risk - Secret Clearance.
  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE
    450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
