Cashier - Al Ahmadi, Kuwait

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing all transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to handle cash transactions with precision.

• Greet customers and handle their purchases in a prompt and friendly manner
• Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers or electronic scanners
• Handle cash, credit, or debit card payments and issue receipts
• Maintain accurate cash drawers throughout the shift
• Resolve any customer complaints in a professional manner
• Keep the checkout area clean and well-stocked
• Help customers locate products as needed
• Keep track of inventory levels and inform management of any shortages or discrepancies
• Adhere to all safety and security procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus
• Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Basic math skills; ability to handle money accurately and quickly
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly personality
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are also desirable)
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
