Cashier - Retail Store in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait

We are currently hiring a skilled Cashier to join our retail store in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling all transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in cashiering and a passion for customer service.

• Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them with their purchases
• Process all transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions and sales in order to effectively upsell products
• Resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns, and exchanges
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the store

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
• Strong math skills and attention to detail for accurate cash handling
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
• Familiarity with basic computer functions and experience using electronic cash registers
• Fluent communication skills in English (knowledge of Tagalog or Nepali is a plus)
• Valid biometric passport is required for non-Kuwaiti nationals

$1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This position does not provide accommodation, so candidates must have their own housing arrangements. We welcome applications from Filipinos and Nepalis who meet the requirements. No formal education or English fluency is required for this role.
