Merchandiser for Established Retail Company in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our established retail company in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are displayed effectively and attractively to drive sales and meet customer demand.

• Collaborate with buyers and suppliers to develop product ranges and negotiate pricing
• Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or phasing out products
• Plan and implement product displays and promotions to increase sales
• Monitor sales trends and adjust product placement accordingly
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper implementation of merchandising guidelines
• Train store staff on product knowledge and effective merchandising techniques
• Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and promotions
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitors' products, and customer preferences

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Prior experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of market trends, consumer behavior, and product placement techniques
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Must be fluent in Urdu or Punjabi
