Job Responsibilities
Process cash receipts and maintain A/R subledger
Process cash disbursements and maintain A/P subledger
Payroll processing through payroll provider and accounting software,
Maintain the general ledger.
Perform monthly close activities.
Ensure that reports sent to clients are accurate and sent within scheduled time frames.
Assist Staff Accountant and Senior Staff Accountant on project deliverables.
Participate in Training and Development to enhance skill sets.
A Team Player who works with the guidance of Staff Accountant and Senior Staff Accountant.
Requirements for Successful Candidate
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, master's degree in accounting is a plus.
Self-motivated with strong work ethics.
Proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience with accounting platforms such as Quick Books, Microsoft GP, Sage Intacct, etc
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Possesses a combination of both problem-solving and innovation skills to attend to several technical production challenges.
Ability to work independently on tasks with some supervision
Ability to manage multiple engagements, and competing priorities
