About the Role

Devstree IT Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced  Senior Accountant  with strong accounting fundamentals and prior exposure to  IT company accounting practices . The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, compliant-driven, and capable of handling end-to-end accounting operations independently.

Key Responsibilities

Handle  end-to-end accounting  activities including bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, and finalization of accounts
Manage  GST compliance : returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliation, and notices
Manage  TDS  calculations, returns, challans, and compliance
Prepare  monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Handle  bank reconciliation , expense tracking, and vendor payments
Coordinate with  CA, auditors, and consultants  for audits and statutory compliance
Manage  payroll accounting , salary entries, and statutory deductions
Ensure compliance with  Income Tax, GST, and other statutory laws
Maintain proper documentation and records as per company policies
Support management with financial analysis and MIS reports

Required

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in  Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
Minimum  5+ years of experience  as an Accountant (preferably in an IT company)
Strong knowledge of  GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance
Hands-on experience with  accounting software  (Tally, Zoho, or similar)
Proficient in  MS Excel  and financial reporting
Good understanding of  IT services billing, project-based accounting, and invoicing
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience working in an  IT / Software Services company
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Attention to detail and strong compliance mindset
