Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Tax Preparer. The Tax Preparer will be responsible for assisting individuals and small businesses with tax preparation, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and maximizing potential savings. Additional responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing financial statements to prepare accurate tax reports, staying updated on changes in tax legislation, and contributing to financial planning efforts for clients.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Tax Preparation and understanding of U.S. Tax Law

Experience with Financial Statements and Financial Analysis
Experience in preparing , 1120S, 1065 tax returns
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proficiency in tax preparation software is a plus
Relevant certification (e.g., CPA or EA certification) is an advantage
