US Tax Professional

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced US Tax Professional to join our team at our Ahmedabad office. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in US taxation, tax preparation, IRS compliance, and client handling. This role requires strong knowledge of US tax processes and the ability to manage tax-related tasks accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review individual tax returns (Form 1040, 1040NR)
Prepare and review business tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065)
Handle US tax compliance and IRS-related requirements
Analyze tax documents and identify deductions and credits
Assist with amended returns and IRS notices
Manage bookkeeping and accounting-related tasks
Review financial records and reconciliations
Communicate with US-based clients regarding tax-related queries

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in US Taxation
Strong knowledge of US tax forms and IRS regulations

Experience with individual and business tax preparation
Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
Experience working with US clients

Preferred

Skills:

Experience with tax software such as Tax Act, Drake, Pro Series, Lacerte, Ultra Tax, or similar tools
Knowledge of Quick Books or bookkeeping processes
PTIN holder preferred
EA/CPA qualification preferred

Skills:

Strong understanding of US tax compliance
Attention to detail and accuracy

Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
