Role Description  The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, preparing vouchers, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and cash accounts. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing GST and other tax-related documentation, supporting monthly and annual closing, and assisting with financial statements and reports. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation for audits.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad.

Qualifications
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, bookkeeping, and ledger management.
Experience in accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and cash handling.
Familiarity with taxation, GST compliance, and basic statutory reporting requirements.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., zoho or similar), spreadsheets, and MS Office applications.
Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and manage responsibilities independently with minimal supervision.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; relevant accounting certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred but not mandatory.
