Role Description  The Special Education and Inclusion Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for designing and overseeing inclusive education practices across the school, ensuring that learners with diverse needs receive appropriate academic, social, and emotional support. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), coordinating interventions, and collaborating with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum, teaching strategies, and assessments.

The Special Education and Inclusion Lead will conduct observations, support applied behavior strategies where appropriate, and monitor student progress through data-driven methods. The role also involves coaching and training staff on inclusive practices, partnering with families and external professionals, and contributing to school policies and systems that promote equity, accessibility, and learner well-being.

Qualifications
Strong foundation in Education and Special Education, with experience designing and implementing inclusive learning plans.
Demonstrated ability in evidence-based approaches for supporting diverse learning and behavior needs.
Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and external specialists, and for documenting plans and progress clearly.
Experience Working With Children in school or clinical settings, with a commitment to child safety, well-being, and dignity.
Relevant degree in Special Education, Psychology, Education, or related field; advanced certifications in special or inclusive education are an advantage.
Ability to analyze student data, use assessment tools, and adapt instructional strategies to varied learning profiles.
Skills in coaching and facilitating professional development for teachers and support staff.
Familiarity with inclusive education policies, legal frameworks, and best practices in the Indian K–12 context is preferred.
