Role Description
App Growth Manager, Paid Marketing
Role overview
This role will focus on driving high-quality installs, improving conversion across the funnel, and maximising lifetime value through rigorous experimentation and analytics. You will work closely with product, analytics, and creative teams to deliver measurable growth.
Key responsibilities
Plan, execute, and optimise paid user acquisition campaigns across Apple Search Ads, Google Ads, and major social platforms such as Meta, Tik Tok, and others
Own end-to-end campaign management, including budget allocation, bidding strategies, creative testing, and performance optimisation
Develop and maintain a structured testing roadmap, including A B testing across creatives, landing experiences, and funnel steps
Analyse campaign and product performance using cohort analysis to identify growth opportunities and improve retention and LTV
Monitor and optimise key metrics such as CPI, CAC, ROAS, retention, and payback period
Partner with analytics teams to build dashboards and ensure accurate tracking across MMP and analytics tools
Collaborate with product and lifecycle teams to improve onboarding, conversion, and engagement
Work with creative teams to develop high-performing ad concepts and iterate based on data insights
Identify new channels, partners, and growth opportunities through experimentation
Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to stakeholders
Required experience
3 to 4 years of experience in mobile performance marketing or growth marketing
Hands-on experience managing Apple Search Ads, Google App campaigns, and paid social channels
Strong understanding of mobile attribution and measurement using tools such as Apps Flyer, Adjust, or Branch
Deep experience with analytics platforms such as Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar
Proven track record of scaling campaigns while maintaining efficiency targets
Strong analytical skills with experience in cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and forecasting
Experience designing and analysing controlled experiments and A B tests
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, familiarity with SQL is a plus
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred qualifications
Experience working in subscription or freemium app businesses
Experience managing large monthly budgets
Familiarity with SKAdNetwork and privacy-first measurement approaches
Experience working closely with product teams in a growth squad model
Knowledge of creative testing frameworks and performance creative best practices
Success metrics
Efficient growth in installs and activated users
Improvement in the CAC to LTV ratio
Positive ROAS and reduced payback period
Increased conversion and retention rates
Clear testing velocity and learning agenda
