Educational qualifications &
Experience:
Bachelor’s/Master's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP are a plus.
Responsibilities
10–12 years of experience in data loss prevention, data discovery/classification, and database/data security.
Experience with DSPM tools and integration in hybrid environments.
Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST.
Experience with DLP, DSPM, disk encryption tools and automation.
Manage a comprehensive DLP program, including data discovery, classification, and protection policies.
Conduct DLP and DSPM assessments to identify, mitigate, and report data protection risks.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations across multiple geographies.
Collaborate with legal teams to review contracts and MSAs for DLP compliance.
Oversee deployment and tuning of disk encryption technologies (e.g., Bit Locker).
Understanding of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and evaluate vendor risks from a DLP perspective.
Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) reviews to ensure DLP/DAM/DSPM considerations are integrated.
Manage and respond to data breaches and DLP incidents.
Stay up to date with the latest DLP trends, threats, and technologies
