Job Title:

Logistics Operations Executive / Freight Forwarding Executive

Position Summary
The Logistics Operations Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day freight forwarding and logistics operations while supporting the Team Leader in delivering high-quality service aligned with departmental objectives. The role ensures smooth cargo movement through effective coordination, process adherence, and customer-focused operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Manage daily customer service, operational, and documentation activities related to freight forwarding.
Assist Team Leaders in reviewing, implementing, and adhering to SOPs and operational processes.
Plan and execute cargo consolidation activities while maintaining strong relationships with ocean carriers.
Coordinate with customers, warehouses, overseas offices, and internal stations to ensure seamless cargo movement.
Monitor and resolve operational issues proactively to minimize delays and service disruptions.
Prepare and distribute pre-alerts and required shipment documents to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
Ensure accurate system updates and operational tracking; knowledge of CW1 system is preferred.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education
Graduate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).

Experience
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding operations.
Strong understanding of ocean freight operations and cargo consolidation processes.
