The Import and Export Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end documentation, coordination, and compliance processes involved in international trade. This includes handling customs clearance, liaising with freight forwarders and customs agents, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate all activities related to export and import shipments, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery.
Prepare and manage shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, certificate of origin, LC (Letter of Credit) documentation, etc.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and documentation standards.
Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, CHA, and port authorities.
Monitor shipment status, handle tracking and tracing, and address logistics issues or delays.
Ensure accurate calculation and payment of duties, tariffs, and taxes for imported goods.
Coordinate with internal departments (sales, warehouse, production) for documentation and shipment readiness.
Maintain up-to-date records of all import-export transactions and generate MIS reports.
